Welcome to the magical Srinagar! Our representative will meet you at the airport to escort you to the houseboat. Check-in at the houseboat. Relax and refresh! Post this, walk out to take a look at the city. You can also walk on Boulevard Road offering views of Zabarwan Mountain Ranges. Now we will take you for a delightful Shikara Ride on Dal Lake (1-hour ride). After this, if time allows, go shopping in Srinagar and collect some amazing souvenirs like pashmina shawls, saffron, walnut wood items, embroidered sari, etc. As the day draws closer, come back to the houseboat and enjoy a great night on it.
Post breakfast, our representative will take you to explore some of the other famous attractions of Srinagar. The first on the list is the captivating Shalimar Bagh which was built by the Mughal emperor Jahangir in the year 1619. This garden’s architectural beauty, a variety of trees and flowers, fountains and relaxing environment will surely win your heart. Next, we will take you to the Chashme Shahi, another delightful garden boasting a beautiful terrace garden, pools of water, lovely walkways and an amazing variety of plants. In the evening, get back to the hotel and stay overnight at the hotel.
After a delicious breakfast, check out from the hotel and head for the magnetic Gulmarg Valley. It is known for its Gondola Ride, the second-longest and highest cable ride in the world and fascinating skiing opportunities for both professional as well as amateur skiers. Adventure enthusiasts come here from across the globe to enjoy skiing in Gulmarg. The ride offers sheer adventure at a high altitude and breathtakingly beautiful views of the snow-capped mountains. Later enjoy a good night’s sleep at the hotel in Srinagar.
After breakfast, drive to the picturesque Pahalgam, enjoying scenic saffron fields along the way. Visit the enchanting Betaab Valley, named after the Bollywood movie, where the Lidder River flows through lush greenery and stunning mountains. Next, explore Chandanwari Valley (7 km), a base for the Amarnath Yatra, known for sledding and melting glaciers feeding the Lidder River.
Then, head to Aru Valley, a serene spot with snow-capped peaks, meadows, and opportunities for skiing and trekking to Tarsar Lake and Kolahoi Glacier. In the evening, check into your hotel in Pahalgam, have dinner, and relax for the night.
